There may be times where looking after your pet may be difficult
because of illness or inconvenient working hours. When these times
happen, we are just a phone call or email away, ready to provide

Unfortunately, we are no longer
able to offer an every day regular dog walking service and
I am not in a position to be able to recommend any particular
dog walker.
If you require a regular
dog walker, I suggest you call in at the Kirkton vets and
look on their noticeboard as there are plenty of local dog
walkers offering their services. Do not telephone the
vets to ask them ~ they are busy people and would not appreciate
having to answer queries regarding dog walking.
Please choose a dog walker carefully and ideally pick one
that walks no more than 2 or 3 dogs together. Many dog walkers,
to get extra money, walk 4 or more dogs together. Well, this
might make the dog walker some easy money but it isn't exactly
ideal for your dog ! It is not a good idea to have your next
door neighbour to walk your dog, who might be doing it for
undeclared 'pin' money, choose an Insured professional
Dog Walker ~ they have back up facilities to cater if
anything goes wrong. Remember, you are potentially allowing
strangers in your house, be very careful which dog walker
you choose and do not be afraid to ask for references and
proof of Insurance and also proof of disclosure check.
